In 2014, with the support of Vyacheslav Pranovich, collector and art patron, our Workshop began working on the exhibition project called “Knights’ Armors and Helmets of Belarusian and West European Lands of the 10th to 17th Centuries”. Through our replicas, we wanted to show how rich the military culture of our land was and to contribute to the preservation of its historical heritage.

The first exhibition was set up at the Mir Castle in 2015. Our exhibition was held in most of the major museums and castles of Belarus. Now, we are ready to take a look back and post the pictures of armors and helmets from our exhibitions on our website sl-armours.com.

Today, we publish the 17th-century Hussar Armor of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
